I've just come back from another conference organized in Canary Islands. Deadline for abstract was January 31st but in practice I was able to submit mine until May 10th (!). The place is very expensive (77 euros/day are not so much surprising) but I suppose they will have good sources of funding for participants and everybody interested should at least try to ask them about it.
