We're delighted to introduce a major new electronic-only publication, the Journal of Cosmology and Astroparticle Physics (JCAP). JCAP is published in partnership between the Institute of Physics Publishing (IOP) and the International School for Advanced Studies (SISSA) and will follow a similar trajectory to that of its sister journal Journal of High Energy Physics (JHEP).

JCAP brings together cutting-edge research in all aspects of cosmology as well as astrophysics and particle physics. The journals remit encompasses theoretical, observational and experimental areas as well as computation and simulation. The first papers appeared online in March 2003.

Access to the full text is free to all until the end of 2003. Beginning January 2004 a low annual subscription will be introduced for institutions.
