Postdoctoral Researcher in Computational Cosmology

The Center for Theoretical Physics (CFT) of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw, Poland, is seeking a postdoctoral researcher to join the SONATA 19 PAIRS project led by Dr. Mariana Jaber. The selected candidate will join the Computational Cosmology Group at CFT. https://www.cft.edu.pl/grupa-naukowa/computational-cosmology The position focuses on analyzing galaxy velocities and their spatial distribution within the cosmic web, to derive constraints on key cosmological parameters.

Position Details:

Requirements: Ph.D. in astronomy, physics, or computational sciences, awarded no earlier than 2017. Experience in numerical simulations, data analysis, and cosmological simulations is essential. Application Deadline: October 25, 2024. Additional Opportunities: No teaching responsibilities, with potential for securing additional funding. The CFT especially encourages applications from women and underrepresented groups.
